Alcumus ISOQAR customers should be reassured that their UKAS accredited certification will almost certainly remain valid following the UK’s exit from the European Union.
We are continually being updated by UKAS and they have assured us that certification worldwide will not be affected by Brexit and have issued the following statement:
“UKAS has had assurance that it will not cease to be a member of EA and its MLAs after 29 March 2019 and indeed will be able to retain its membership for at least a further 2 years. This means that there are no technical grounds for UKAS accreditation not to continue to be accepted after Brexit.”
The full statement is available on the UKAS website.
We at Alcumus ISOQAR are confident that there will be no change to our accreditation status. We fully expect that we will be able to continue to offer our services as a certification body across the full range of standards we are currently providing worldwide after the 29th March 2019.
As BusinessUpNorth have stated:
“… through the deal or no deal scenario, your ISO certification stands firm as a tool for not just improving your business but providing competitive advantage when the playing field is level. This is because ISO standards are truly international standards and are understood by businesses all over the world as a sign of organisations capable of delivering great products and services”.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will inform clients via email and through our website if there is any significant change to the status of UKAS Accreditation.
